Janitor Keeps hotel, office building, apartment house, or similar building in clean and orderly condition and tends furnace, air conditioner, and boiler to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for tenants by performing the following duties. |  | | Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
Regulates flow of fuel into automatic furnace or shovels coal into hand fired furnace.
Empties tenants' trash and garbage containers.

Replaces air conditioner filters.
Cautions tenants regarding complaints about excessive noise, disorderly conduct, or misuse of property. |

Machine Operator / Waste Water Help and manage removal of waste in adherence with GMP's and Plant Safety and Health Rules. |  | | Ability to maneuver drums weighing up to 350lbs, boxes and bags up to 100lbs, (with help), and empty plastic wooden pallets weighing up to 40lbs.; to use long and short handled brushes, brooms, squeegees, mops, scrubbers, scrappers and paddles; to use a variety of hand tools, including wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, flashlights, pulleys and knives; to climb stairs and ladders, to work on platforms, to use high-pressure steam and hot water hoses, to use air hoses, to use drum pumps and siphons, to wear goggles, neoprene/latex/vinyl/rubber/cotton gloves, chemical resistant clothes, steel toed shoes and equipment as required or necessary.
Knowledge of and demonstrated adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and the Plant Safety and Health Rules. Adherence to Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan.

Painter Prepares surfaces for finish and painting. Performs general clean up of rollers, brushes, and spray equipment. Roofer Covers roofs with roofing materials other than sheet metal, such as composition shingles or sheets, wood shingles, or asphalt and gravel, to waterproof roofs by performing the following duties. |  | | Cuts roofing paper to size and nails or staples it to roof in overlapping strips to form base for roofing materials. Aligns roofing material with edge of roof, and overlaps successive layers, gauging distance of overlap with chalkline, gauge on shingling hatchet, or by lines on shingles. Fastens composition shingles or sheets to roof with asphalt, cement, or nails. Punches holes in slate, tile, terra cotta, or wooden shingles.
Cuts strips of flashing and fits them into angles formed by walls, vents, and intersecting roof surfaces. Mops or pours hot asphalt or tar onto roof base when applying asphalt or tar and gravel to roof.
Applies alternate layers of hot asphalt or tar and roofing paper until roof covering is as specified. Applies gravel or pebbles over top layer. Constructs and attaches prefabricated roof sections to rafters.
Attaches shingles to exterior walls and applies roofing paper and tar to shower pans, decks, and promenades to waterproof surfaces. |
